The American artist describes a political-spiritual matrix of possibilities – full of androgynous eroticism and flowery virtuality. Embedded in sounds by experimental artist Arcane Device, Nechvatal had the text read aloud by a computer voice during his art exhibition vOluptuary: an algorithmic hermaphornology at the Gallery Universal Concepts Unlimited (NYC) in 2003.
