Lacking suitable traditions and having grown up in a traumatised society among former Nazis, West-German musicians and artists have been reinventing their terrain from scratch since the late 1960s.
Equally at home in the art world and the artists’ pub, Ata Tak‘s proprietors run their label from a nice office in Düsseldorf.
